It is with very heavy hearts that we share this message.

After careful consideration, the three owners of Somos Philly Spanish Immersion Summer Camp have made the difficult decision to go our separate ways. As a result, Somos will not be offering summer camp or any other programming moving forward.

However, Keisha Usher-Martin has developed a new Spanish Immersion Camp model in Philadelphia, ¡Viva Verano!. This camp is a complete and separate legal entity from Somos.

With summer planning underway for many families, we felt it was important to communicate this update now and with transparency.

We are deeply saddened and disappointed that we were unable to continue the camp, as Somos was truly a labor of love and a passion project for us. Over the past two summers, Somos was built with intention, joy, and a deep commitment to language, culture, and community.

We are incredibly grateful to the families who trusted us with their children and became part of the Somos family. Getting to know your children and sharing in their growth and experiences was an absolute privilege, and the relationships and memories we created will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Thank you to everyone who supported Somos Philly Spanish Immersion Summer Camp and helped make it such a meaningful experience.
